As per your Suggestion..

 Today I painted brown eggs, an exercise not only in turning form, but on patience. I shall do lots more, there's so much to be learned.  Practice makes perfect, or close to it.
This posting completes the first month of my blog, so far, I'm pleased with the experience, I think it was a very good idea; if I may say so myself.  I'm looking forward to the next eleven.
